Work with House of Pod!
Marketing + Production Intern
Curious how it all works? Interested in producing your own piece? Looking for in-depth experience on how to market, launch, and produce a show? House of Pod selects two interns a year (one in the spring, and one in the fall) to work with us 10-15 hours a week and learn behind-the-scenes what it’s like to build an audio-based digital entertainment company. Past interns have managed our social media, lead community podcast projects, produced segments of our series, and taught workshops to greater Denver community. If you are interested in being considered for this experience, please write email@example.com and list “Marketing + Production Intern” in the title. Please include your CV, a letter on why you would like to work with us, and a writing/audio sample.
This is an unpaid, three-month educational experience at House of Pod. For this reason, we are legally bound to offer this opportunity to recent graduates only. If this isn’t you, but you would still like to be involved, we are always happy to work with volunteers with our non-profit Amped. Contact us for more details.
Teachers (of all kinds!)
Are you interested in holding an event, a workshop, or teaching a class at House of Pod?! We want you! Our community is eager to learn, and we’re bent on making a better world through better listening…which means more education, skills development, collaboration, and enrichment. Know that our goals are to make education as accessible as possible to our greater community, AND pay artists for their time. Get in touch to start planning what kind of programming we can offer together!
Note: Our community is particularly interested in - audio editing, sound design, legal and copyright issues, monetization and revenue streams, discoverability, hearing from producers on “how they made it.”
Other than what is listed above, we are currently not hiring for any other positions. However, we are always interested in hearing from folks and new positions are coming up all of the time. Fun fact: 100% of our interns and staff have emailed us with interest, PRIOR to us opening applications to the general public. We like to hire from our local community, so write us a message, or come to an event and introduce yourself!
